Chit Chattin’ with Charles- December 2017

Hi everyone, my name is Charles, Charles in Charge to be exact. I’m the newbie at Kids & Families Together. So far, I love my new job and family! They knew what was good for them and gave me my own column in the newsletter. I’m excited to share with you all the new things I learn, fun events I get to go to, and just about life at the office (I get all the good dirt).

We recently had an open house and ribbon cutting in November. It was so much fun! So many nice people came and said such nice things about K&FT, and more importantly, about ME. I sure feel lucky to be a part of the K&FT family. And I made it in the newspaper! I’m quite proud of my new celebrity status. I’ll be signing autographs upon request. If you’re around, come stop by my office and say hello!  It’s a pretty sweet office. I was nice and let my mom share it with me (but really, it’s mine!).

I am SUPER DUPER EXCITED to start working with clients, but my mom says I’m not quite ready yet. She’s wrong though, I’m ready—she’s the one that isn’t! Hopefully soon we’ll get to be co-therapists. We make a good team, therapy is going to be so much fun!

I’m really looking forward to the Holiday Gift Away. I GOT INVITED! And I heard Santa Paws will be there!! I’m so excited to meet him! I have a long wish list to give him. I love giving high fives and getting belly rubs… so come find me at the event! I’ll be the one in the ugly Christmas sweater (it’s so cool). You can take a picture with me for $5 (just kidding, mom said no matter how famous I might be, I can’t charge people for pictures… LAME).

I know sometimes Christmas and other holidays can be hard when you’re not with your birth family. I miss my birth mom and grandma all the time. Mom said we can send them a Christmas card and tell them how much we love and miss them and think about them. Mom always gives me extra cuddles this time of year and talks with me when I’m feeling sad; she understands. What do you do to remember your birth family during the holidays?

Merry Christmas and Happy Howlidays, my furiends!
