Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC): Awareness & Identification

February 3, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Free

Human trafficking disproportionately impacts young people in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Many children do not receive help because they are misidentified or not recognized at all. This training will help participants understand the psychological and social dynamics, life events, and contributing factors that can lead to the sexual exploitation of a child. Participants will learn how to recognize risks and warning signs associated with young people in out-of-home care.

Trainer: Carrie McAuliffe Sandoval
Carrie is a long-time FKCE trainer and has been training the CSEC: Awareness & Identification Training since 2016.

Participants will receive certificate for 3 hours of training upon completion of the class.
