DESCRIPTION:Offered as part of the Ventura Kinship Resource Group (See more details at bottom of page) \nTrainer: Jessica Flanagan\, Public Health Nurse \nFacilitator: Jami McAtee\, PPE \nWhen: Tuesday\, November 19th 6:00-8:00pm \nWhere: Kids & Families Together- 864 E. Santa Clara St. Ventura \nThis class will discuss the effects of prenatal substance use on the newborn. We will cover tips and techniques to use in caring for an infant who may be experiencing withdrawal symptoms including feeding issues\, sleep concerns and developmental delays. Learning how to recognize and respond to infant cues will be included. \nParticipants will receive credit for 2 hours of training upon completion of the class.
