SUMMARY:East County Hub Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Facilitator: Liz Thiele\, PPE \nTrainers: Anjelica Hinojosa & Raquel Montes   \nTopic: Trauma Informed Practices (TIPs) for Parents \nThursday\, June 11th 6:00-8:00pm \nLighthouse Church \n3353 Old Conejo Road\, Newbury Park \nTrauma is an umbrella term used to describe the inability of an individual or a community to respond in a healthy way physically\, emotionally\, and mentally to acute or chronic stress. Meets Foster VC Kids criteria for “trauma.” \nPlease RSVP to Rhonda at rcarlson@vcccd.edu (Please indicate if you are a foster /kinship provider in your RSVP) \nSponsors: Ventura College FKCE\, Foster VC Kids\, Channel Islands Social Services
